The other day I was at Michael’s, which was kind of weird for me. I only go to Michael’s when I can’t find what I need at Robert’s. So I was going down their dollar aisle and found so many cool things for a dollar! I snatched up a ton of things and can’t wait to show you!

Anyways, I’ve made another St. Patrick’s Day Project! Only this one only cost me $2.00 to make!!! I love it!!! It is so fun and cute and it was so easy to make!

Here is the tutorial:

Supplies Needed:

1 4×6 unfinshed wood frame (I found mine at Michael’s for a buck!)

Paint

3 pieces of coordinating green scrapbook paper

buttons

ribbon

mod podge

hot glue

distressing ink

step 1: Take the inside out of your frame. We are going to mod podge everything on to this thick piece of chipboard.

Step 2: Paint your frame. I only did the sides and the inside where i can see. You will be coverin the rest with paper.

Step 3: While your paint is drying, cut out a piece of 4×6 paper that you want to use as your background. Then mod podge your piece of chipboard and place your piece of 4×6 paper on top and mod podge over it. This will seal the edges.

Step 4: While your mod podge is drying, cut out your tree, shamrocks, and the word “luck” (i used alphalicious with a 1 inch cut.)

Step 5: After your paint is dry, trace your frame onto the back of a piece of scrapbook paper that you want for the front of your frame and the cut it out.

Step 6: Apply a thin layer of mod podge on your frame and place the paper on top of that. Then apply another thin layer of mod podge on top of the paper.

Step 7: While your mod podge is drying, place your tree and shamrocks on your piece of 4×6 chipboard and mod podge the pieces on the way that you like it. Also hot glue on some buttons for more texture.

Step 8: Mod podge the word luck on your frame and hot glue some ribbon and buttons on the top.

Step 9: Distress!!!! I distressed mine like crazy! (MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS LAST!!! IF YOU DO IT BEFORE, THEN WHEN YOU MOD PODGE THE INK WILL RUN EVERYWHERE!)

And you’re done!! How cute and easy is that!

I think I am officially ready for St. Patrick’s Day!
