Favorite Things Friday: Linky party

Happy Friday Everyone! I love friday, don't you? I love friday for three reasons.
1. I have no school
2. It's the weekend and I get to spend time with my hubby, who I hardly see during the week!
3. I get to host another linky party! :)

I am excited for another day of Favorites! I was pleasantly surprised to get 14 links last week. Some may say that I'm a total loser and that 14 is nothing, but I thought it was awesome and was super happy that I had more than 1! :) So thank you!

Time for another linky party! Link your recipes, crafts, and favorite products.

Rules:

1. Comment on at least one other link. Share the comment love!
2. Link back to my page.

Here are a few highlights from last weeks party:

Doreen, from Altered Artworks shows lots of projects using vintage paper!

Amy over at Increasingly Domestic made these awesome up-cycled baby jar lights!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I was thinking it would be great to have some sponsors for my linky party every friday. If you are interested email me at lindseyweight@gmail.com

Favorite Things Friday Linky Party!

It's finally here! My first ever linky party!

Link up anything from your favorite craft this week, recipe, or a product you love!
**Remember to link to your specific post, not your home page!

I only have 2 rules:

1. Comment on at least 1 other link.
2. Link back to my page using a link or my button.

Now, be a friend and link up, so I don't feel like a total dorkwad! :)

Favorite Things Friday: My button collection and a Linky Party

This is a small glimpse of my button collection. You could probably say that I am obsessed with them. I started to collect them a couple years ago and my collection has grown and is now a little outrageous! :) I love using them and hey, if I ever lose a button on a shirt, I know that I could find a replacement. :)

Photobucket

I love crafting with them and most of my projects have buttons on them.

Some of my favorite button projects:

Vintage puzzle piece magnets Shamrock Tree
When I started doing Favorite Things Friday, I had the intent of making it into a linky party that everyone could enjoy. I wanted to announce that I'm going to start it next week! I am super excited about it, but kind of scared.

I have never hosted a linky party and I don't want it to be a complete failure. So please pass the word around! I don't expect a ton of links, I know it takes a while, so I will consider it a success if I get one link! :)

I want people to be able to share their favorite things. Whether it be their favorite craft they made this week, a recipe, or a product. Anything is game. So start thinking about it and be ready to post next Friday! :)

Here is my button if you want to add it to your sidebar! :)

Favorite Things Friday: Nikon D5000

I got a brand new camera a couple weeks ago and I LOVE it. It is awesome. I got a Nikon D5000 and it has not disappointed. My pictures are so clear and the quality is amazing.

I am still learning how to use it and have been taking a ton of pictures. I'm sure Hannah is just about sick of me taking her picture! Here are some of my latest pictures of Hannah with the new camera.

It was fun taking her picture with my mom's antique rocking chair. I remember sitting in this rocking chair when I was her age!

It was definitely worth the money in my opinion. I am currently in a photography class this semester and we are using 35mm film cameras and can't wait to make my own prints! I'm sure you will be seeing a lot pictures in the next little while! :)

"Favorite Things Friday" awapuhi--wild ginger

My first "favorite thing" is my newest love. When I say love....I really mean I am in love with this product!

It is a hair care line by Paul Mitchell and it's called "awapuhi--wild ginger"

It is AMAZING! What got me hooked was the smell. I have never ever had a shampoo that smelled so good. It not only smells great, it works great. It is a moisturizing shampoo and it has made my hair so much more healthy.

I have never been one to spend a ton of money on hair products, but when my sister became a cosmetologist.....things changed. I now spend more on hair care products than any other beauty products.

This line of hair products is not cheap and I am savoring every last drop. I don't let anyone in my house use it but me! :) The other great thing about it is that you don't need to use a lot of it when washing your hair. So it should last me a while--which is a good thing because my husband about died when I told him how much I spent on a bottle of shampoo and conditioner! :)

So now I am asking you--what is your absolute must have beauty product?
