The easiest brownies ever....and some super bowl recipes!

I am really excited for the Super Bowl this year and that's because I get to eat a ton of great food!!! If you are still looking for some great recipes to share, here are some recipes that I love and also a new recipe that I've never tried, that I'm really excited about!

This recipe is from my sister, and they are my most favorite brownies to make! They are sooo simple and I always have the ingredients on hand. I made them for a treat tonight and they are the best warm with some vanilla ice cream! (i can't have brownies without some ice cream!)

The Super Bowl is always about dips! So this year I'm trying this new recipe that my sister found and I can't wait to try it! I love artichoke dips and this one has a twist! I'll let you know what I think on Monday!

Spicy Spinach Artichoke Dip

2 (8oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
1 (4.5oz) can chopped green chilies, drained
1 Cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1 (12oz) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/4 Cup canned chopped jalapeno peppers, drained (we put all of this in and it was really spicy, I would recommend leaving them out completely and have them there to garnish or or do half of a 1/4 cup)
1 (10oz) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together cream cheese, mayo, in bowl until smooth. stir in green chilies, parmesan cheese, swiss cheese, artichokes, peppers, and spinach. put in 8x8 baking dish.
3. Bake for 30 mins or when slightly brown.

Serve with Baguette sliced into thin pieces , or ritz crackers or any others you might like.

If you are looking for a slightly healthier (and by healthy i mean....it consists of dipping fruit, so that means healthy right?) option, you could try this simple Apple Dip. This is an awesome dip for apples, or other chopped up fruit. We always had this dip growing up and I just love it!

This last dip, is an artichoke dip that is soo good!

I hope you all have a wonderful Super Bowl Weekend!

Do you have any Super Bowl recipes that you love?

PS: my prediction for the Super Bowl is 24-10 Saints!

Random question (google reader suggested your blog in my feed today) - is the brownie recipe fudgy or cakey?
